Here offered is a Vintage
DeSoto-Plymouth
Dealer Emblem from 'Mellas Motors' in Mount Vernon, New York. This original period plastic dealer tag was most likely applied to the trunk lid of an automobile when delivered to the dealership.  Though the exact age of this nameplate is unknown, it is believed to date from the 1950's / Early 1960's, based on the design and dealer information.
The used emblem has the remnants of adhesive material, used
to affix the tag to the trunk lid,
on the reverse side, but otherwise appears to be in Very Nice condition.
