EARLY New Zealand Automobile Association A.A. club member's enamel badge
New Zealand (Unlike Australia) HAS NEVER HAD Royal Automobile Club or "R.A.C." operating any service or membership here
But back in the early 20th Century when this badge was "current" ALL New Zealand AA members enjoyed reciprocated "Associate Member" of RAC services when travelling overseas
This has CONFUSED some British AA badge collectors to WRONGLY ASSUME that this "AA Marked "Property of Automobile Association" was actually an RAC badge (It certainly IS NOT)
Clearly the NZAA "borrowed the UK RAC Associate Member's badge DESIGN, but that where the similarity ends :-)
AGE = Circa 1920-1930 so nearly 100 years OLD
The listed postage cost is for New Zealand Post International COURIER delivery (Can weigh up-to 500 Grams!!)
