Vintage 1950's Art Deco Vitesse Hood Ornament Triumph ? Metal version of Lalique

I know little about this item, but found it most interesting. From what I've seen this is the metal version of the Vitesse Lalique ornament. Been advised this may be from a 50's Triumph. Weighs 1.2 lbs and stands approx 7 1/2" tall and approx 2 1/2" diameter of the base. Has #309 on the base. One bolt came with it when I acquired it, but not sure is compatible or original bolt. Have listed as used, but this appears to have never been installed and is just like new. Good luck bidding on a neat collectible.
