How often do you come across an AUTHENTIC pair of antique French Fashion doll or Bebe gloves in such a DIMINUTIVE SIZE, and we love the sweet antique PINK PRESENTATION box the gloves are housed in-------the perfect accessory for milady's toilette table or housed in the trunk of your most PAMPERED POUPEE!
This sweet little set came from a QUALITY COLLECTION of other wonderful FASHION ACCESSORIES pictured here and are being sold separately for your buying consideration; please note this offering is for the boxed pair of antique French doll gloves only.
The set includes an antique pair of tiny white antique kid leather French Fashion doll gloves and a beautiful pink papered rectangular shaped presentation box with lovely FLORAL DIE CUTS!   The gloves measure 2 3/4" long, 1" across the palms and 1 1/2" wide across the cuffs, with the fingers measuring approximately 5/8" long.  The are made of supple white KID LEATHER with wonderful detail including their original TINY BUTTONS and hand stitching around each finger and on the back of each "hand".  The gloves are in aged condition, as there is a slit on one side of one of the gloves and also some age soiling; please see the pictures for further detail.   We think this pair was originally worn by another doll which explains its well loved condition, as this particular type of glove was usually not offered as an added accessory, but actually sold on either a French Fashion doll or Bebe itself; we have shown a picture of our all original Poupee (not included in this offering) wearing a similar pair gloves like the ones we are offering here!
The sweet little antique presentation box measures 2 7/8" long, 1 1/2" deep and 1 1/4" high with the lid closed, and 2 1/2" high with it open.   It is made of PINK PAPER covered cardboard, and has a colorful die cut depicting a hand holding flowers on the outside lid, and a tiny little floral die cut on the inside lid.  The gloves fit PERFECTLY in the box, and we are showing it pictured with another round glass lidded pink presentation box housing a pair of authentic antique JUMEAU BLUE doll earrings; please note this listing is for the gloves and its presentation box only-----we couldn't resist showing you this other set since they go so well with the glove set, and they will also will be offered as well under a separate listing!
We are showing them for scale purposes with our 16" antique Fashion doll, who not included in this offering, DELIGHTS in doing the modeling honors----also fabulous showcased in a TRUNK DISPLAY with a doll and her other wardrobe and accessory items!
