In addition to the AI BS abv;  PA asked GM and it's Turnstedt Division for a new bare headed archer figure. Schnell was imported from Germany who designed a new figure and Turnstedt Division made the round base figure for only 1 year 1931. The 25 pg booklet and stock certificate are included all of which came from a local hood ornament collector. The figure is excellent showing slight wear from actual use.  It has a replaced copper arrow per pics and a simple wooden base. So per previous owner and The Arrow booklet I believe it to be an actual Schnell designed piece from 1931 and cast by Turnstedt. The details in the booklet describe a remarkable effort to just make the new Archer. The head was made separately. The piece has superb detail unlike many of the cheap knockoffs. There are several other articles about the PA factory and examples of the cars. Archer article was written by Gonas 1975. Pics beyond the booklet are from the book. Ships free to any US address.
