Description

A cocktail flavoring with a pungent, spicy profile similar to that of the original Jamaica Ginger Extract, which was produced in the United States from the late 1880s to the 1930s. It was an ingredient in such cocktails as the Jamaica Ginger, the Hot Deck, and the Here's How. However, its use in 1932 in the production of the toxic bootleg liquor known as Ginger Jake triggered the demise of Jamaica Ginger Extract itself. Ingredients: purified water, alcohol 50% vol, ginger root extract and other botanical extracts certified as GRAS by the FDA, natural flavor.
