Description
Outstanding industrial factory two tier iron pull cart repurposed into a steampunk styled rolling island table. This is a particularly rare cart featuring a pull/push handle, hitch, and two rimmed shelves. It sits on its four original 8”x2” casters with the front two being swivel casters. The makers stamps are in the photos. Comes with a custom made table top using reclaimed rough cut lumber from the early 1900s. The lumber was only lightly sanded to leave the original saw cuts and patina. The wood is left untreated as of now for buyers preference to apply epoxy top or etc. The wooden top measures 39.75” wide and 62.75” long. The wooden top is heavy enough to not have to be bolted down. The 2x4s are joined together by two smaller boards that fit snugly against the ends of the metal tray. Someone could make this where you could use the tray for storage under the table top. Galvanized screws were used for construction. The top metal rimmed tray measures 4’ long and 2’ wide. The cart itself was spray coated with a blackened fade resistant rust preventative. Total height including top is close to 42” tall. The bottom tray is a bit thinner than the other parts. There is an elongated hole that has worn through as seen in photos. This is a very heavy item. This is for pickup only, no shipping. See photos for condition.
